The British business mission started its work in Krasnodar region

The meeting between Veniamin Kondratyev and Laurie Bristow, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in RF, was held within the framework of the business program. 

The parties discussed the cooperation prospects during the meeting.

According to the representative of the British delegation, more than 40 people representing more than 25 companies of Great Britain arrived to Krasnodar region. A number of events is planned within the scope of the business mission. The delegation will visit, inter alia, the top enterprises of the region and educational establishments.

– It evidences our interest in the business of Krasnodar region. The delegation will include representatives from different sectors – power energy, construction, agriculture, sport and education. We also put a priority on the pharmaceutical and ecological sectors – explained Lory Bristow.

In return, Veniamin Kondratyev noted that more than 800 foreign enterprises, of which more than 30 – with British capital – are operating in Kuban today.

– Our region has been and remains one of the most attractive areas for business both in Russia and abroad. We have strong partnership relations with more than 120 countries while the cooperation with the European states occupies a special place, - emphasized Veniamin Kondratyev.
