Since the beginning of the year, more than 15 million tons of grain and the related processing products have been exported via the entry points subordinate to the Southern Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor , which is 32% higher as compared to the past year (over seven months of 2019 – 11.5 million of tons). The product is supplied to 109 countries across the globe as reported in the Press-Service of the Administration.
The main countries-importers: Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, Sudan and Iran. Wheat accounts for the basic export share of cereals – 11.8 million tons (+26%). 67 countries of the world purchased it.
The Southern Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor operates across the territory of Kuban, Adygea, Crimea and Sevastopol. Grain is certified by experts of the department; phytosanitary certificates validating that the products comply with the specific phytosanitary requirements of countries-importers have been issued and executed for this regulated cargo.
