Passenger Traffic of the Kuban Airports Increased by Means of Krasnodar

The airports of Krasnodar, Sochi, Gelendzhik and Anapa served about 1.4 million passengers in January-February 2018 that is by 18% more than the same period a year earlier. The Kuban capital took significant share in this percentage, as its air harbor has been showing steady growth for several years.

So, nearly 759.5 thousand people (+13%) were served at the Sochi International Airport during the two winter months of 2018. Domestic flight directions served more than 731 thousand passengers (+12%), and international ones about 28 thousand passengers (+69%).

The Krasnodar International Airport served 538.9 thousand people (27%) for the same period. The number of passengers on internal flight directions was more than 460 thousand people (+23%), and on international flight directions was more than 78 thousand (+54%).

Anapa airport served nearly 73 thousand people (+12%).

Gelendzhik also increases traffic volumes; more than 4.2 thousand passengers (+38%) were served during January-February of 2018, as the press-service of Basel Aero informs.
