The volume of exports of finished food products in the Krasnodar Territory increased by 9.7% in the first 7 months of 2023 over same period last year. This was reported by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Fedor Dereka during the regular session of the Legislative Assembly of the Territory.
At the same time, the amount of exported finished food products reached $84.3 million.
It is specified that at the end of 2022, the industrial food production index amounted to 110.3%, which is 10.3% higher compared to the same period in 2021. At the same time, the share of Kuban sugar and canned fruits and vegetables in the Russian volume of output is 25%, for rice groats — 76%, for baby food on a meat basis — 65%, for vegetable oil — 21%.
Exports of meat and dairy products of Kuban producers since the beginning of 2023 reached $40 million, which is a 1.5 fold increase compared to the same period last year. At the same time, exports of oil and fat products increased by 13% in 2023 and reached $610 million.
