«Magnit» retailer has launched a new format of retailer enterprises «Magnit City» in Krasnodar.
«The retailer continuously keeps analyzing the demand and testing new food concepts. One of such new concepts is «Magnit City». This is a store with a square of 150-230 sq.m. where purchasers could buy some snacks in a specially assigned comfort area. A popular mix of food and drinks will be presented here; including those of domestic manufacture, as reported to RPC Krasnodar by the Press-Service of «Magnit».
The main accent in a new establishment will be put on a cafeteria area: immediately opposite the entrance is a stand where one can order drinks as well as fresh baking and several tables are located nearby.
A shopping area where one can buy products and day-to-day merchandise is available in the establishment. However, their assortment is too narrow as compared to traditional stores in the chain. A new trend has been launched within the framework of a long-term strategy of retailer development.
Currently «Magnit» has six shopping formats: stores «close to home» – for day-to-day purchases, supermarkets – with a wider product mix, «Magnit-Opt» – for purchases in large lots, ultra small – with the most popular merchandise, droguerie – with products for beauty and wellness and pharmacies.
