A Tourist Cluster Similar to Zaha Hadid Bureau Will Be Created in Novorossiysk

Zaha Hadid Architects, a British bureau, became a winner of the open international competition on creation of the architectural and city-planning concept of the tourist and recreational cluster in Novorossiysk.

The implementation of the investment project in the field of business tourism and MICE services will start in 2018. The project is implemented on the principles of public and private partnership. A territory of 5 hectares will be developed within the first stage of the project. It will place the infrastructure aimed at the development of business, event, educational, health and sailing-yacht tourism of the world class. According to preliminary estimates, the volume of private investment for this stage will be about 7 billion rubles. The first stage is planned to be implemented until 2021.

Zaha Hadid Architects is an architectural bureau with a headquarter in London. The company was founded by Zaha Hadid (1950-2016) – a first woman who received Pritzker Prize, the most prestigious award of the world architectural community.
