Investment volume has increased more than 3.5 times over two years, the Minister of Economy of Krasnodar Region, Alexey Yurtaev, reported.
«Two years ago, the PPP portfolio included 68 agreements totaling about 95 billion rubles. Today, we are carrying out 115 projects in the region, with investments reaching approximately 370 billion rubles, including 312 billion rubles from private investors,» Yurtaev said.
The minister also noted that the region has created a favorable environment for investors, featuring transparent regulations, government support, and access to necessary information.
Major projects include the construction of a tram line, five schools, and the modernization of water supply and sewage systems in Armavir city, Krasnodar, and Gelendzhik city-resort. Moreover, three concession agreements have been signed for the construction and operation of solid municipal waste treatment facilities with a total capacity of 750,000 tons per year.
Plans are underway to implement a PPP project for the construction of a toll four-lane highway stretching 108.5 kilometers from Krasnodar city (Far Western Bypass) through Abinsk city to Kabardinka village. The planned investment is 276 billion rubles. This highway will help address transportation issues in major municipalities such as Krasnodar and Novorossiysk.
