A meeting with representatives of the business and Kuban authorities with the German delegation was held in Krasnodar

The meeting was organized by the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the CCI of Krasnodar Region with the support and participation of the regional administration. The German delegation was headed by Sabine Tusk, the head of the transport department of the Department of Economics and Science of the German Embassy in Moscow.

Yuri Volkov, Head of the Department of Investment and Development of the SME in a region, Yegor Robsky, Deputy Chairman of the CCI, representatives of local authorities and more than 15 German companies working in the field of transport logistics and warehousing, as well as the business community of the Kuban took part in the event.

Yuri Volkov greeted the foreign guests and talked about the recent trip to Berlin, where the presentation of the economic potential of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as the wine industries and manufactures had taken place.

"The event was successful and productive, we received a lot of positive feedback" the head of the department said.
Yuri Volkov made a presentation of the region's economic and investment potential. Also, German colleagues were told about the Welcome Center established in the region, which provides a full range of services to foreign entrepreneurs.

Sabina Tusk, in her turn, spoke about the meeting with companies that have been working in the Kuban for several years. They confirmed that they are comfortable working in the region.

- Our trip to the Krasnodar Territory is part of the federal program for the development of new promising markets by small and medium-sized enterprises. Germany is interested in cooperation and development of business and economically beneficial relations with Russia in general and the Krasnodar region in particular. «Germany is Russia’s second largest partner in goods turnover by value" she said.

Sabina Tusk noted that German companies had conducted market analysis of the Krasnodar region and found increasing goods turnover, as well as new markets, potentially interesting to German companies in logistics, storage and transportation areas.

The German delegation consisted of well-known companies engaged in b2b meetings with business representatives of Kuban, after the official part of the presentations had ended.

- Such meetings will contribute to strengthening business ties between the Krasnodar region and Germany. This country is a reliable partner of the Kuban, actively investing in the economy of the region. German business has already implemented a number of large-scale projects in our region, we hope to further develop productive cooperation with German colleagues, "commented Yuri Volkov.
